KOTAWARINGIN BARAT, BORNEO24.COM – The government of Kotawaringin Barat Regency did a banner installation at Swiss Bell Hotel Pangkalan Bun because of tax arrears as much Rp 5,038 Billion. This banner was a punishment figuration from the government to the owner of that hotel who disobedience to the taxes.
Molta Dena, the team secretary of Justisi of Kotawaringin Barat Regency stated that the installation of the banner was done because in recent years Swiss Bell Hotel Pangkalan Bun does not pay the tax. Therefore, from the whole taxes that have been accumulated, the score was quite a lot.
About those tax arrears, the party also did a discussion directly so that taxpayer can do repayment about the taxes arrears. However, there is no repayment effort from Swiss Bell Hotel Pangkalan Bun.
Beforehand, Justiti team already did a warning and reminder through the letter to the taxpayer. Otherwise, there was no respond from party of Swiss Bell Hotel Pangkalan Bun.
“From the permission of vice-regent of Kotawaringin Barat, Ahmadi Riansyah as the leader of Justiti team did some stickers and banners installation at Swiss Bell Hotel Pangkalan Bun. That thing helped by Justiti Team, such as Civil Service Police Unit, laws, and polices,” Molta Dena, on Thursday 31, October 2019.
She continued that the stickers and banners installation was done because of the physiologist and social causes for the part of hotel. Meanwhile, part of hotel also can be faster to pay off the tax arrears later. Besides, people at Kotawaringin Barat can contribute to see about the taxes arrears. Because of in this time, part of Swiss Belinn Hotel was wayward in payment of taxes matter.
She explained “We did this kind of action as a form of firmness from Justiti team of Kotawaringin Barat. Because the others hospitalities in Pangkalan Bun were also obedient to pay taxes. Therefore, this is for giving the fairness for them who obedient to pay taxes”.
Molta Dena mentioned that there are three taxes that do not pay off yet by Swiss Bell Hotel. They are hotel taxes, restaurant taxes, and rural and urban building land taxes.
“The total number of taxes arrears that Swiss Bell Hotel should pay off was until October 31. That total were Rp 5,038 Billion, we hope that taxes arrears can be pay off soon”. She wishes.
She hopes the part of hotel can pay in installments those taxes arrears until the end of 2019. If later there is no good loyalty, surely there will be a further process. As a result, there will also process of permanent sealed from the authorities.
