BARITO SELATAN, BORNEO24.COM – Hawino alias Ugei is 32-year-old man who raped Bunga (17), his own nephew’s fiancé. The girl who was still in grade 1 high school in Buntok was raped in a rice field yard near her village on Monday (12/30/2019).
From the police data, the suspect who is a villager of Mabuan Village, Dusun Selatan Sub-district, South Barito Regency (Barsel) was a recidivist in 2011 because of a rape case.
Barsel Police Chief AKBP Devy Firmansyah said that the rape began when the victim was taken home by the suspect using a two-wheeled vehicle.
When they almost arrived at the village of the victim, the suspect turned the motorbike into a paddy field road.
“When arriving at the destination, the perpetrator gave a reason to go to a quiet place to take the Durian fruit,” said the Police Chief, Thursday (02/01/2019).
The police chief continued because at that time there were no Durians, the perpetrator invited the victim to go home immediately. The victim was suspicious of the perpetrators’ symptoms, the victim then ran. That was when the perpetrator chased her to embrace the victim from behind while squeezing the victim’s breast.
“At that time the victim panicked, she gave resistance by shouting “No, No” and pushing the body of the suspect, then she fleeing towards the main road to the destination of the village,” explained the police chief.
Because the perpetrator’s lust was no longer in control, the suspect tried hard to catch up and managed to catch the victim’s hand.
“Then the suspect threatened to kill the victim, if she fought or shouted and if she did not want to serve his lust desires. The victim was raped once,” said Devy.
After being satisfied with his depraved actions, the suspect told the victim to break off the engagement relationship with the suspect’s nephew, and then deliver the victim to her parents’ house.
The victim who was frightened then told her parents about the depraved act of the suspect, and they immediately reported to the Police Station of Dusun Selatan.
“Receiving reports of victims’ families, we immediately moved quickly to arrest the suspect. The act of the suspect is subject to article 81 section (1) of Law Number 17 the Year 2016 concerning the stipulation of government regulations in place of Law Number 1 the Year 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection. The threat of a sentence of 15 years in prison,” concluded Devy Firmansyah.
