MURUNG RAYA, BORNEO24.COM – Puruk Cahu resident, Untung Surapati Street, Murung Sub-district were stirred by a hanging action carried out by Wardi. The 27-year-old man was found dead at his house in a hanging position on Wednesday (1/15/2020) in the morning.
Mura Police Chief AKBP Dharmeswara Hadi Kuncoro through Police Chief of Murung Ipda Yuliantho confirmed the incident. The victim was first discovered by Dahlianor, his wife who woke up hearing her son cry.
Seeing the condition of her husband, Dahlianor then came out to ask for help from villagers. After returning to her house the victim already died, for the incident, she immediately reported to the Murung Police Station.
“Based on the results of the post mortem carried out by the Puruk Cahu Regional Hospital, they stated that there was no sign of violence on the victim’s body, and the victim’s neck had traces of rope that were used to hang himself, his hands and feet had turned blue and the estimated time of death of the victim no more than 2 hours,” explained Yuliantho.
From the testimonies of Dahlianor who was the victim’s wife before the suicide, the victim and wife had been quarreling because their children kept crying, and the victim had thrown a sentence that would divorce.
“The corpse is planned to be buried in a funeral home in Amuntai Tengah Sub-district, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency,” he said.
